The once glorious gardens created by Doris Duke were destroyed in May, 2008. Don't bother visiting this place.

The Indoor Display Gardens tour is no longer available.

The gardens have been closed in preparation for the creation of new environmentally-friendly indoor and outdoor gardens that will open to the public in 2010.

THE ONCE MAGNIFICANT INDOOR GARDEN IS NOW CLOSED FOR GOOD.

THE OUTSIDE PROPERTY IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR TOUR THOUGH NO GARDENS.
