Head Gardener's Comment

Award winning visitor attraction with something for the whole family. Spectacular views over the Forest of Bowland from the Welsh mountains to the Isle of Man. Lapwing conservation area in association with RSPB and Wyre Countryside rangers and recently added a range of excellent walks ranging from on farm walk (40mins) to a full day walk of over 5 hours. Rare breed farm animals to view with regular feeding times. We have a excellent tearoom with gift shop where all refreshments made on the premises from local produce, for which we have received the “Highest Commended Taste Lancashire Award.” The children’s play area allows something for the little ones, a large garden with many features with unusual plants including National Collection from Catforth Gardens along with a plant nursery to enable you to take that special plant home. Regular special events held every month. Group bookings welcome.
