I have just returned from England and had the opportunity to visit Mr. Potts garden, Chiffchaffs. It was without a doubt one of the highlights of my garden tour. His grounds are incredibly wonderful and so full of beauty that is not to be missed. Every corner will offer another surprise. It is a must!
I have just finished a post on Mr. Potts that I am happy to share. Go to: http://alwaysrobinseggblue.blogspot.com/
and enjoy! A cottage garden at its best.

(5.0/5)An excellent and very well maintained garden. After the cottage gdn one wanders up to the top of a paddock along which is an arboreal walk to a mini Arboretum full of fascinating trees, conifers and shrubs. I sense it is best visited in late spring or Autumn.
There is an enviable collection of Liquidambers, def not to be missed in the Autumn.
Ignore your satnav to find this place.. go west out of Bourton and turn right up Chaffeymoor Hill... its on the RHS of a left hand bend barely half a mile up the road.

(5.0/5)This is the quintessential cottage garden, a must see!

(5.0/5)A wonderful place with something for everyone - an especially charming cottage garden. I would love to have asked about the planting but there was nobody available. However, it was a great afternoon and the woodland walk should NOT be missed. The owners must work incredibly hard and are to be congratulated. I went to see the Spring garden but shall return in a month or so to see it in full flower.
A note of warning - the Google map tells you to go to the wrong place. The garden is located on the Wincanton to Gillingham road, just the Wincanton side of Boughton and not up the tiny lane the map shows!

(5.0/5)You have the wrong postcode for these gardens. It should be SP8 5BY.
