Go to Chesters Walled Garden
I do so agree with the other reviewer and I love the eclectic mix and the softness of the planting at Chesters. It has a very natural feel to it, flowing gracefully from one area to another, and then you suddenly come upon a totally different atmosphere such as the formal beds with their massed Verbena bonariensis - stunning and simple. I went a couple of times in late season last year and the Verbenas just seemed to get better and better and were still in flower in October. The garden is beautiful and original though at all times of the year.

(5.0/5)I just love the atmosphere in this walled garden. It has a spontaneity and natural feel from the plants that are allowed to self seed. It has a heart, probably from it being the expression of one person's love of plants and the way they are put together; this is not the pristine garden of an organisation but a very personal and lovely space. I've visited in all seasons and found so much to enjoy.
