The Old Potting Shed shop has a wide range of local produce - terracotta pots from nearby Hexham, Northumberland honey, greetings cards by local artists as well as organic vegetable and wildflower seed, Faith in Nature products, jams and drinks and old garden tools and artefacts such as chimney pots, milk churns, iron wheels, grindstones and troughs.
June 21st - The Moon and Flowers - Premier of collaboration between poet Linda France and sound recordist Chris Watson. Timed presentations throughout the day. Poet workshops and a renga day in the lead up to the event. See website for details. June 28th - 2pm - Guided tour looking at Elizabethan plants as part of the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of herbalist William Turner, 'the father of English Botany'.
