I felt that the Chateau Langeais was a complete and utter disaster. I didn't see one knight, king, queen, or dragon.

Very much enjoyed walking round this splendid chateau with my wife. It is unlike many in that it is medieval rather than 17th-19th century. There is not much in the way of gardens, it is more enclosed parkland. Villandry's magnificent gardens are not too far away, and we stayed at Le Clos Rabelais B&B in Langeais, where Shaun is a great host.
He knows so much about the area and helped us out so much.
