  • Shopping

Our Plants for Sale area offers a good variety of herbaceous perennials, shrubs and trees as well as water lilies and other water and bog plants. We also have for sale a beautiful selection of native bonsai trees, all grown, shaped and crafted at Cae Hir by Wil Akkermans.

  • Light Refreshments

New for 2009 is the Cae Hir Garden Tea Room. With wonderful views over the valley and woods beyond and offering a tantalizing glimpse of the garden, there is no better place to relax over a traditional Welsh Cream Tea or a less familiar Dutch ‘Gebak’, all home-baked on the premises. Entry to the Tea Room is free and can be accessed separately from the garden. We strive to offer only Home Made (here on the premises!) and Locally Sourced food and drink. This not only helps the local economy, but also lowers our carbon footprint, thus helping keep the planet healthier and more ‘green’ - important to us gardeners! As such we also use Organic where we can. When we are unable to use locally sourced products (such as coffee and bananas), we use Fair Trade wherever possible.
