Gardenvisit Editorial

John Ruskin, the critic, author and painter, lived here from 1872-1900 and made the garden. The site and the garden are romantic. Ruskins Seat, a stone seat in the woods, was a place for gloomy contemplation. But for the association with Ruskin, the garden is un-remarkable.
