A fortified and moated medieval palace, now the Bishop's residence, with a ruined banqueting hall which has been made into a garden. There is an arboretum in the grounds.

Opening times - 21 March to 25 October Sun-Fri 10.30am-6.00pm Saturday 10.30pm-2.00pm 26 October to 19 December Wed-Sun 10.30am-3.30pm Closed Monday & Tuesday Last entry is one hour before closing The Bishop's Palace and Gardens will be closing after the 19 December for the winter season.
