A garden run in conjunction with a nursery. It has lawns, large herbaceous borders, an orchard, a rock garden and a walk by the River Dore. There is a wide range of plants and shrubs,and a large collection of herbaceous perennials. The house may have been neglected because the owners were so interested in the garden. But the house featured Channel 4s Country House Rescue documentary series - and now takes holiday guests, so the garden is better than ever.
