Exceedingly helpful staff who were working hard to maintain the garden. Several very interesting looking trees may be found there and I am looking forward to a return visit with a group of tree enthusiasts in the spring.

This garden is looking rather sad and neglected and very very weedy with some areas apparently abandonned. It is a pity the old orchard is so overgrown and the area round the ponds is full of nettles and thistles which makes it very difficult to enjoy a walk if you have sandals on.
