    Having last visited this Garden about 38 years ago it was intriguing to see it again in a very mature state.

    There is plenty of evidence that a lot of renewing or regeneration of the elderly shrubs, principally Azaleas and some Rhodos is under way, thankfully.

    It is a garden best viewed in late April to May when everything explodes into colour, and a veritable riot it was many years ago !!

    There are some quite choice plants about..I admired some lovely Rh. Thompsonii and Rh. Beanianum for their gorgeous deep blood toned blooms.

    Children are well catered for..look for the assorted Fairy Doors !
