I used to pride myself on my snowballing skills but this year I was out-gunned. One cyclist-on-ice vs. 25 hooded-teenagers was not a very fair contest, despite my talent and experience in this branch of human endeavour. In fact the experience led me to think about the un-hooded youngsters of Dharavi. Unsported by a welfare state, they are all busy earning their keep. Then I thought of St Paul's remark to the Thessalonians: "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." Well, thank you.
